709 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Snare Drum"

An attempt to make an entire drum kit using only cymbal sounds. Cymbals were pitch-shifted, compressed, equalized, and subjected to other effects in order to make them capable of filling the roles usually occupied by actual drums. I took my snare drum into the wonderfully echoey parking garage of my building to record the reverb. Included are samples recorded from varying distances and positions. Also included are dry versions, recorded in a living room and a super-dry elevator. When used in a production, try mixing in the heavily reverbed snares against the dry ones to fit your taste. Also the reverb snares work well mixed under even unrelated percussions to add a neat ambiance. The same goes for my "stairwell foot stomps" sample set. Recorded 24-bit stereo with a sony pcm-d50. Assisted by matt mcgowin.

Hollow, reverby snare with some low rumble, fizzly highs, and nudged-down frequency ranges. ("derezzed" because i cut down some resonance).

Made a snare, then totally twisted it. All this done in fl studio. Took a lot of tinkering in a certain newtone program to make this sound. Enjoy!.

This is a short buildup made with fl studio 12 and with a snare from a project of gimbal&sinans; "rawl". Playing around with an eq is much fun xd.

This is a basic 120 bpm drum beat i made with "studio drummer" of native instruments. You can use it i. E. For practising guitar/base or use it for music production. Simply edit it on your daw for an endless drum loop.

Little breakbeat with skippy snares using one of the chemical kits in reason. Kick and snare were processed separately. A bit of fuzz used across the board to dirty it up a bit and some gentle re verb on the snares and hats.

Drumbeat made for the stones throw beat battle #391. This one has the snares very early. Made out of home cooked synthesized drum samples, mixed and added effects through reaktor.

My dw 13" collectors snare recorded with a shure pg56 on the top and a shure sm57 on the bottom with the phase reversed on the bottom mic. Both mics run through my mackie onyx 1620 mic preamps. The track is uncompressed.

Created using tracktion waveform-10. I used 3 instances of the builtin synth subtractive, 1 was for the body of the snare the other 2 were the noise to try and replicate the wires of the snare, finally i used zynaddsubfx to create the transient. There was some eq applied to boost key frequencies in around 200hz and mastermix plugin to compress the audio.

Acoustic drumkit single hits.

A super heavily compressed and saturated snare with a decently long noise tail. Fun to pitch up or chop and throw into a break. Used in my upcoming hybrid-v ep release.

Basically layered a 200hz snare body, similar to a 909, low-passed and saturated. Added in a transient sound, then a certain impact sound that you wouldn't expect, layered together with some high end white noise, compressed, then used a transient shaper for that final touch.

Beat (source unknown) sampling with soundforge 7. Not quantized. . . . ,just cut looping + pitch (-) + dbglitch vst effect.

These are drum sounds and some fx and percussions made with zynaddsubfx / zyn-fusion open source synth with some processing mostly eq and compression.

An 8-bar drum loop at a bpm of 128. The loop contains a kick drum tuned to f0, a snare drum tuned to f2, an untuned hi-hat, and an untuned ride cymbal (as well as chopped delay and reverb effects).

Basically its a synthesized snare bottom, with a real clap layered with a white noise burst, eq'd and also filtered with what i can only really call "parallel- saturation. ".

I call this my flash boom. It's a sub plus a pitch shifted snare that i created on my track "a flash of light by the shore" use it to create dynamics on a hit or whatever you want. Give a shout out to stark for machines and have fun! :). - chris.
